Builders, realtors, and appraisers are remarking on new construction of whole houses. This market has been painfully slow hurting many builders on Cape Cod. Those that have survived are good managers, good builders, and they are flexible enough to change to remodels and small additions. However, the number of land sales appears to be increasing YTD. I am seeing my first appraisal for a whole house new construction in the past couple of years.
